NOTICE: This product requires soldering! (MODERATE skill level recommended)

Product details:

• This display kit includes a replacement front PCB and backlit STN display panel for the original DMG Gameboy
• Display panel does have some blur/refresh latency similar to the original display panel, is not ideal for games with a lot of motion and action

Important notes:

• This kit DOES NOT INCLUDE a ribbon cable for connecting the display PCB to a Gameboy mainboard
• Replacement display lens is NOT included - A lens with a larger viewing area is necessary
• Power wires for the LCD backlight are not soldered for easier display panel installation - Solder them AFTER installing the panel and kit in your console! (Feed through ribbon hole in PCB)
• Shell trimming is required for display panel installation and having a proper viewing window

Required soldering:

• Speaker - Recycle your original speaker, solder to pads on lower right side of PCB
• Display backlight wires (pictured) - Cut/remove white plug on panel, solder + and GND wires to "LED" pads as directed
• Ribbon (pictured) - Recycle your original ribbon cable, solder directly to pads as directed
